That was my most favorite picture of both of you! I remember taking you to Kmart, at the old St Charles Mall for that. Once a month you would get a coupon, and the photographer would be there for a day or two. They set up shop right in the middle of the store, and you waited in line. Sometimes it took so long you would get tired and crabby by the time it was your turn, but not this time, you were both so happy. Then we went to McDonald's and got a happy meal, that was the big treat!

Back in town for a few days

it feels good to be back in town. night swimming, friends, subbing at jefferson and possibly other various schools, im leaving town this weekend with emily and then were going back on tour on tuesday to finish out the last part of tour. im broke and happy. very happy. there are people i wish i could see or maybe wished to see me and there is someone i wish not to see but is clueless to that and obnoxious.

my summer life

Wow,

Another school year. I have officially worked for the Minneapolis Public School district for 2 and a half years. During my time I have been on 60-75 field trips, worked with over 200 children, have been late to work 3 times and have had 6 bosses. I have taught children how to sew, work harder at school, hosted an art opening, hosted 2 plays run, set made and written by the kids with me mediating. I have been hit by special needs children 8 times. I have had to restrain one child 3 times because of the effort and fantastic specialties of my kids, I have cried several times.

I was on a rooftop in chicago with my friend lizzie schoell two weeks ago. She just quit her job doing social work in an all black segregated poor neighborhood of chicago. She almost got stabbed and cried out of stress. I feel proud of my fellow teachers and minneapolis kids co-workers to be able to do this job. I average about 600 dollars a month with no food stamps (have no idea why). I have learned how to eat out of the aldi garbage and how to scam my way through life because i am so poor.

so after this school year. I have the summer off.

I leave on saturday for northern wisconsin. I am very sad about this but mostly scared. I am moving to the middle of nowhere for a month to be around family (which i have never been interested in). My father is finally in America for good. He bought a restaurant called Ski's Northern Lights. I said I will do anything to help. He's very excited for me to be around. I love my dad. I will also be working at his girlfriends thrift store. I can't wait for that. sounds so much fun.

But like my life I spark a romance with a wonderful person right before i leave. haha. why?
